The Village Board reviewed the Fire/EMS Fee originally adopted in 2023. On November 6, 2024 they approved a revised Ordinance 2024-07 that charges all residential units equally. The purpose of the fee is to cover the costs of fire protection and EMS services charged by the City of Pewaukee to provide these services. The fee went up in 2024 due to a four percent total increase in Fire Department spending in the City, an increase in the ratio paid by the Village based on call volume and an increase in percentage of the total cost paid by the Village as defined in our agreement with the City.
